If you use GMail on a Mac try this FREE mail link application to let you quickly get your mail. Once it is installed there will be an mail icon on the top bar of your desktop window. It turns RED when you have mail. Just simply click on it to open a mail window for Gmail. Click again and the window vanishes. Pretty slick and extremely convenient.
To find the application just click on the apple found in the top left corner of your desktop screen and choose “App Store” from the pull down menu.
Once the App Store window opens just search for Gmail using the search box and then choose the app.
